Call Committee Update

Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, and by the grace of God, we have elected to call the Reverend Ernest Jeong to be our next Pastor. Pastor Jeong is 37 years old, is married with three children (ages 10, 9 and 6), and is currently serving as Assistant Pastor at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Milton, Washington. Pastor Jeong was contacted by Pastor Barkett, our Circuit Counselor, following the Call service and he indicated that he is available and excited to consider the Call. The Call documents, including the Diploma of Vocation, compensation information and additional congregation information have been mailed to Pastor Jeong. The next step is for Pastor Jeong to review the Call documents, visit Faith and prayerfully seek God's will prior to deciding whether or not to accept the Call. This process will take between three to five weeks. Please continue to pray for Pastor Jeong and his family, for Beautiful Savior Lutheran, and for Faith Lutheran during this time.
